Susan Fitter Sloane, MA, AICI, is the founder of Global Manners. Catering to everyone from stay-at-home moms and jet-setting CEOs, Susan is today’s answer to the age-old uncertainty of how to connect well with anyone in any situation, nurturing elegance and a new level of confidence in her clients. An expert in Lifestyle, Manners, and Interpersonal Skills, Susan is Certified in Etiquette and International Protocol, Adult and Corporate Etiquette as well as Children and Teen Etiquette by the Protocol School of Washington. Susan holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tulsa, a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan, and is a Certified Image Consultant with the Association of Image Consultants International.
Susan’s take on social skills is frequently quoted in publications such as The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Seventeen Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Country Living, Real Simple, and Quick and Simple, among many others. She also has an etiquette column, Courtesy Calls, in Arizona Society magazine. Internationally, her business etiquette savvy has been featured in the Prague Post, Czech Business Journal, and the Budapest Business Journal.
Identified as a “World Class International Etiquette Expert” by The Learning Channel in 2007, Susan co-hosted the television special Mind Your Manners with Clinton Kelly of TLC’s What Not To Wear. Susan has also appeared on The Today Show, Fox News, Fox Business Network’s Fast Track Program, Hot Newz TV, and on multiple regional news and talk television. She contributes weekly to Bob Parson’s GoDaddy Radio Show and has been heard on many other radio shows, including multiple times on Martha Stewart Radio.
An accomplished equestrian, Susan is a member of the Master of Foxhounds Association. She regularly hunts with the Orange County Hunt and competes in equestrian events. Susan also travels extensively, enjoys theatre and the arts, fine wines and cheese and is attempting to dine at all the top 50 restaurants of the world.
